What's New

A feasibility study was undertaken to evaluate opportunities for a heat pump dryer to process food products in a regional area. The products included vegetables, fish and meat. The study identified that some high value add products showed promise whereas commodity products were marginal. Some limitations identified in processing operations were areas for further study by the client so that the next stage of the project could be progressed.

A promising outcome was the result of a study to assist a dairy manufacturer expand into a new product and processing technology. The study included a comparison of a greenfields site or the expansion of existing facilities. The study also identified areas where further assessment is required prior to commissioning a full feasibility with refinement of manufacturing and capital costs.
