Karting Photos - practice 25th April 2003
You can see the look of concentration on Bernie's face as she approaches the left hand bend into the canteen section of track. The white cable tie on the steering wheel is a method of checking the amount of steering input you are applying - handy for kart setup (see photo).
The previous picture was a blow up taken from this shot. In the background, Stephen is travelling along the high speed straight, consisting of the section of road from the pits hairpin thru two high speed corners to the Coffey Ford hairpin.
This photo is taken as Bernie exits the second of two right turns to run in front of the club's canteen. There is a left bend to exit the canteen complex coming up.
This is the first of two photos of Joel Norris as he approaches the left hand bend into the canteen section of track.
This is the second of two photos of Joel as he approaches the left hand bend into the canteen section of track on a different lap. Now you can see a second kart in the background, having come up the rise from the previous hairpin right corner.
This is a side shot of Joel in his kart as he exits the corner.
This photo is taken as Stephen enters the left turn into the canteen complex of turns.
Stephen comes under pressure during another lap, again approaching the left turn into the canteen complex of turns.
Bernie (in the background) apexes the Coffey Ford righthand hairpin turn to go thru the infield complex starting with Concept corner next. Stephen has completed the infield complex and runs in front of the club's canteen prior to the left turn into pit hairpin.
The final photo is taken as Stephen exits Coffey Ford righthand hairpin.
