Placing an Object on the Form

The Visual Basic Toolbar displays the types of objects that can be placed on the form.

The Command object is the only object needed to get started with InDesign Scripting.

Place the mouse pointer over any object in the toolbox. A small yellow box known as a 'Quick tip' displays the name of each object.

The Command object responds to a mouse click.

With the mouse double click with the and the object is drawn on the form.

The object can be selected, resized or moved to any position on the form.
