TECH INFORMATION
This VB utility allows customer facing staff to quickly access
training and general information about the technical staff they
are controlling.
The original data is contained within a Excel Spreadsheet administered
by management staff. Given the size of this spreadsheet it is not
suitable for look-up browsing access by the staff that need to
view the information in it.
This utility overcomes the problem. The administrator saves the
spreadsheet as suitable named CSV file. e.g. IN-TRNG.CSV.
If he has changed the number of row or columns in the existing
spreadsheet then the corresponding INI file e.g. IN-TRNG.INI
needs to be modified to reflect these changes.
The LAN Admin person can modify the F:\APPS\TECHINFO\TECHINFO.MNU
Menu so that entry for the particular customer group
e.g. Industry FSG
now points at the CSV\INI file's location.
The CSV\INI files can also reside in the F:\APPS\TECHINFO if required,
in which case no file path is required in the Menu file.
