If you routinely receive e-mail such as newsletters that are labelled with ??Spam?? you can create a filter to process it
before the ??Spam?? filter. The following example filters based on the sender mailouts@melbpc.org.au
For Filter Expression use Any-Sender: mailouts@melbpc.org.au.
For Watch Action select Retrieve.
For File in folder click New Folder and enter a name of you choosing - Spam in this
example.
Tick Do not leave on server (unless you wish to leave your mail on the server - not normally recommended).
Filters are evaluated in order of the priority setting (values 0-1000), so if a message meets the criteria of two filters then the
highest priority filter takes precedence. Set the priority of the Newsletter filter higher (1000 in this example) than for the
??Spam?? filter (600 in this example). Adjust the priorities of your various filters to suit.
