Souvenirs of a Voyage

Boarding passes issued to the Nash family prior to embarkation.  Maureen Nash and the three girls shared a 6 berth cabin with another family on B deck.  Bill and Robin had a 4 berth cabin to themselves on D deck over the engine room.  A Scottish man and his son were to have shared the cabin, but did not sail after the son fell on the gangway and broke his leg while boarding.

Ladies could make an appointment for the "Ladies' Hairdressing Saloon" on board the New Australia.  The ship also catered for gentlemen with a barber's shop.  There was also a shop near the Purser's Office where souvenirs of the ship could be purchased.
