Human Resourcing I have been a Human Resource professional for over 20 years and am a Chartered member of the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI). My background includes broad experience in the areas of Human Resourcing and HR/Customer Service systems development and implementation, Training, Policy and Procedure documentation. In my work for Unigate / St Ivel (UK company) I had responsibility for the management development of 12 Business Units across the South of England and into Wales. My experience includes managing HR
projects, teams and systems of various kinds for both small and large
organisations and I have worked predominantly in the areas of : Corporate Reporting Policy and procedure development Human Resourcing & Employee
Development Computers (training, installation
of software / hardware, support for end users) Wherever quality is to be maintained, there is a need to develop strong direction in the form of Policies, Procedures and Work Instructions, so that everyone has a clear idea about what is expected. It is also necessary to be able to control systems so that document access, retrieval, storage, archiving and back ups is as effective as possible. |
I have assisted large organisations to implement document management "frameworks" to enable employees to easily access on-line documents and also to enable managers to easily access management information. My work has included facilitation of assessment and development centres, using behavioural competencies as recruitment and selection tools. I have been responsible for managing the succession planning system for a large diverse International FMCG organisation. This work included designing and developing Performance Management and Individual Development Planning systems (IDP's) and linking the results of these into the corporate succession planning system. I have broad experience
as a contracting Consultant in the areas of Human Resource and systems
development where I am mainly engaged to analyse existing departments
and/or systems and develop new Processes, Policies, Standards and Procedures
to improve HR management or access to information and/or Customer Service
levels. |
