![]() |
"Hands on Help" is a Linux and OS SIG activity enabling members to come along before the main meeting and get some one-on-one assistance with specific problems from some of the more experienced SIG members on an "all care, no guaruntees" basis.
Members attending these sessions should bring their computers with them. If you are bringing a desktop system with you, please be sure to bring your keyboard, mouse and monitor, as problems will often need these items for successfull resolution. If possible, you should also bring the installation CD/DVD for your distribution with you.
If you have a problem which may take a while to work through, or
needs special expertise, a phone call or email to the SIG before the
meeting would be appreciated.
This makes it easier for the organisers
to make sure that you can get some appropriate assistance.
