Shadowrun - The Terminus Experiment

Just look at the cover art, hot chicks with BIG guns, what more could you ask for. Well I could think of a few things but it is still poetry in motion.

Set in the Shadowrun world, with its blend of Cyberpunk and Magic, this story revolves around a vampire hunter who is himself a vampire and a striper turned runner and an evil plot to turn all of meta humanity into a new form of vampire.

A scientist in his lab is experimenting with cybermancy the blending of two oposed sciences, cybernetics and magic, to make cybernetic vampire soldiers. He recruits another scientist to help develop new strains of the vampirism virus for his work. All of this is funded by a shadowy secret society of vampires who are trying to take over the world.

Warren, the third in line to be head of a private security corporation is kidnapped to be used as the next test subject(at the request of his uncle current CEO of said company and a mutated vampire).

Warren has been living a double life, he is a talented artist using an hidden magical gift to sculpt marvelous statues that appear to be alive, he lives with his stripper girl friend Rachel (she has been training on the side with a local shadowrunning troll Flak, the strip clubs security guy).

When Rachel gets home our friendly vampire hunting vampire tells her what has happened, and with the help of Flak's team they storm the lab to try and rescue Warren. The attack co-incides with Warrens father also leading an assault on the Lab to try and rescue him. Needless to say things get crazy and an action packed ride is there to be had for the reader.

Like all the Shadowrun novels it is some nice actionpacked light reading
