Brian Lumley

Brian Lumley is amongst my favourite authors. I enjoy his writing style and the stories he tells through his novels and short stories.

I started reading the Necroscope series and then moved onto the Mythos Omnibus this was my first experiances with the Cthulhu Mythos. I had heard of it before and seen H.P. Lovecraft's books in the stores as well as many compilations of other people writing in and expanding the worlds he invented.

One of these compiliations in turn lead me to discover Ramsey Campbell.

Brian Lumley's official website is very indepth and as a result there is not a great deal I could write about him here since it is all covered there in the biography section, anything that I have read elsewhere is also contained there.

If you are looking for a good read check out his books, the series are very involved and engrosing. The short stories are also worth while, he manages to somehow pack a lot of story in to a small number of words without it feeling overly rushed.
