Dreamlands Series - Series Overview

Unfortunately I had troubles getting some of the books in the series and ended up with cover art that dosen't match, three are the Tor Horror coveres and one is the Headline cover.
The stories are based in Earth's Dreamlands, we had a brief introduction to this place in the mythos series, this goes much more indepth. The Dreamlands is a place constructed from the dreams of anyone who has ever lived on earth, and as a result anything is possable.
This is another one of H.P. Lovecraft's ideas expanded upon by Brian Lumley. The majority of the places and many of the people in the stories were first dreamed up by Lovecraft, but the two rougish characters are all Lumley.
The series contains plenty of off beat humor and high adventure in wonderous settings. It is fairly light reading with ephasis on the adventure aspect as oposed to the horror aspect that the Mythos series dwelt on. Both these series have their own merrits, and allthough the stories intertwine they take a vastly diferent approach and have a very diferent feel to them.
