Correct undergarments are necessary to create the shape and silhouette which defines the Victorian looks. As the fashionable shape changed so much during the Victorian period, the undergarments also changed. Since I'm planning on a late Victorian bustle dress, I'll be needing a very specific set of undergarments. That being said, certain pieces will be able to be used for different styles throughout the period.
