Pet Dog Training Using Gentle Reward Based Methods

We are a Dog Training Organisation that is endeavouring to give dog owners a large variety of information and training opportunities to achieve a well-behaved pet. We use reward methods in a relaxed environment. We provide training, socialisation and problem solving to help you learn the basic necessities to have an enjoyable, well-adjusted companion dog.

John Williams is a professional obedience and behavioural trainer with more than 30 years experience in the dog training world. He has been involved extensively with training classes and individual problem solving (both at training grounds and in the home environment). He has been working as a professional for the past 18 years. John has attended Australia-wide accepted courses on the Positive Reinforcement methods (reward based) of Dog training, including Puppy and Basic training. He has also attended Dog Behavioural training seminars in Sydney and Melbourne. He is a Full Member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers Australia Inc.

• NEW: Daylight Saving Training - Twilight classes held during January, February and March.
• We cater for all breeds and ages of dogs.
• Pre-school Puppy Courses at two Vet Clinics during weekday evenings.
• One hour classes for dogs of all ages on weekends at two locations.
• Home Training to overcome unacceptable behaviour of your dog with our Behaviour Dog Trainer.
• Home Training Courses for Puppies and Adult Dogs that can be tailored to suit individual needs.
• Advice and Demonstrations are given on how to overcome various problems and training issues in the home environment and in public.
• Small class sizes allowing for maximum opportunity for individual attention.
• Detailed lecture notes are presented for easy reference, covering all the course exercises.
• Additional notes on solving particular problems can be requested.
• Under cover areas at all training grounds available when the weather is hot or wet.
• Training equipment (collars/leads) can be purchased and fitted at the training ground.
• Training activity toys are also available for sale.
• Opportunity to discuss home based behaviour problems, and receive practical easy methods to overcome them.

Our aim is to give you sufficient opportunity through lessons, written notes and your own daily practice to have a well-behaved puppy/dog.
