Life, the Journey on Earth.
A life of variety, changes in a scheme,
Of cause and effect, loss and hope,
Of beautiful people and suffering souls, lost,
Of kind people helping the weak,
Of children teaching the proud strong,
Lessons, timeless, from God.
Our souls know, but we listen not
For our ears hear the noise of Earth.
We listen to people, then more people;
Telling them things we really know not,
Just things to say, to entertain, to fill the gaps
When we might hear our soul.
Our eyes see, read words and more
But we miss the message of beauty behind all,
See movement but not stillness,
The permanent, missed; the transient, dominant.
The colour seen, but not the Light,
The life of soul behind all.
No sound, no sight, so we think
Old thoughts: loud, repeated, outgrown,
Distracted again the Message unknown,
We try to listen; we hear not.
Next we will do what?

The years passed by, and Earth was my locus;
As a family man I just kept my focus.
Work, home, happy wife and boys,
Pet dog and holidays were small joys.
So, when I slept I sought regain,
Seeking soul mates in the chain.
But when I arose, the veil would descend;
With will, with effort, it would not rend.
Then I met a man, Louix Dor Dempriey,
Whose peace and love did surely mend me.
He fired my soul with a cleansing wind.
He reminded me: God is also within!
