SCHOOLS OF THE FUTURE
Throughout history man has thought "There must be more", "Is there life before death?" "Is there life after death?" "Is there a meaning to life?" And throughout history a small percentage of humans discover that there is more, that there is life after death, and all is with divine purpose. Some have had visions or inspirations that led them to perceive the complex greater reality of life after death, of different worlds of risen humans- people like ourselves who are immortal, but are invisible to our mortal eyes. They believe that the risen human beings can see each other and are happy talking, playing and living in co-existing realms they call the invisible higher planes. These visionaries, these inspired Earth-living humans with heightened senses, became motivated to enthusiastically share their visions and self-discovered wisdom to help their brothers and sisters ascend similarly in consciousness. Thus the world's religions were formed, and a privileged class of intermediaries grew- the priests, to translate high realities in voice and written word as religion for the masses.
Hence today we have religious societies with four classes of people-
and each religion has developed a material structure to support, retain and strengthen the organisation. Thus religions develop as oganisations with structures reflecting the varying levels of enlightenment, service or ambitions of its members.the inspired initiates (often long dead), the priesthood, subjects, and non-believers;
Today, at the extreme we have the Catholic Church which reportedly is the largest corporation on Earth with more material assets and land ownership than any company. (Could one now think that the Pope, apparently the head of the living spiritual heirarchy, must be credited as the ultimate intermediary between God and man, and must have nearly God-like powers?) Similarly, most other religions are powerful organisations. But what has got lost in the development of all these religious structures?
The initiators, the inspired ones, the few who had the majestic spiritual visions, have remained a very rare minority, and the intermediaries, the common priests, are often career professionals concentrating on extracting ever greater detail from words of sacred books for the masses. As a consequence, nearly all religions now focus on interpretaion and re-interpretation of written dogma instead of direct illumination. The focus remains on words, not on the direct spiritual consciousness of the God within which the initiate of the religion had. It is now time for this self-perpetuating mental approach to end.
People now need training in the direct perception of God, in God Realisation. This is not achieved solely by mental studies, but by the reward of the flowering of the heart under a trained receptive mind and persistent selfless service. The emphasis must now be on feeling perception, on the transforming power of divine love, and on true service. Eventually this will lead to the development of a New Education System which focuses on true spiritual development through the awakening of higher perception, of "feeling knowing". The teaching of earthly science, of knowledge for everyday living, will be just one aspect that will consequentially be far more easily learnt. The school of the future will bind family life, the classroom, and community closer than ever with core values of harmonious interaction and inter-dependence of everyone (hence our header, "amos"). From earliest childhood, each will know others as equally as important as oneself through empathy, and thus crime, jealousies, etc. will end.
I hope you can help with the development of this high priority for the New Age.
