2008: Due to man's rapacious fossil fuel use, our world now faces severely dangerous global warming. Immediate appropriate behaviour changes are now mandatory to avert food and water crises, population decimation, and species extinction. The key is to minimise fossil fuel use and minimise consumption of all that embodies high water and energy content. Thus the single most important solution for everyone is to become VEGAN. This is because the embodied energy and embodied water in meat and dairy foods are vastly higher than in vegetable foods.

One example: Last year's 400,000 tonne of Australian meat exports to Japan produced 12 MILLION tonne CO2 and required 15.5* CUBIC KILOMETRES of fresh water!
THUS AUSTRALIA EXPORTS WATER and this is not sustainable!
BECOME VEGAN FOR SUSTAINABILITY,
BECOME VEGAN FOR GOOD HEALTH
(see www.RaveDiet.com)
(NOTE* = 15,500 square kilometres of water 1 metre deep!)
The embodied CO2 in meat eating is so severe, that if everyone in Australia became vegan and the meat industry ended, our total CO2 generation would be reduced to HALF the Kyoto target! (without having to close coal power stations)
And if a vegan family watered their garden 2 hours every day, they would still use less water than an omnivore family watering just 2 hours per week.
