Remember that your connection to God is like a pipe and only allows flow in one direction, so any probing by you can block the inflow, so just surrender to God in trust and be open. The clearer the pipe, the clearer the divine
inflow.

NB As the essence of every soul is Christ love, you can achieve communion with God by looking into your own eyes (using a mirror), or the eyes in a picture of Jesus, St Francis, Amma, Meher Baba, or the eyes of anyone, with deep surrender and love.
