Comedy Overnight is presented on the First Saturday of each Month on 979 FM by Colin Vinton and Alex McMurray, with the "Best Of" heard on other weeks presented by Alex & Damien. Colin and Alex present comedy from around the world featuring comedy stand up routines, comedy songs and fun songs along with feature length comedy half hours from the Golden Days of radio. These include such shows as The Bob Hope Show, The Goon Show, Hancock's Half Hour, Life With Dexter and much much more. From time to time, Comedy Overnight features behind the scenes of shows that shaped comedy as we know it today, and bring to the listener the best in what is available from around the World. Along with Colin and Alex, other 979FM announcers drop in occasionally, to present songs or comedy routines that they enjoy, and present to our listeners. Also as part of Comedy Overnight, we feature the Internet Comedy program, The Mad Music Show, hosted by Captain Wayne Ross, a two hour podcast of mad music and silly things, presented weekly by Wayne on The Mad Music Archive.
